Our garden at the Mountain has been a primary and sacred place of ministry for all who come here. This is the first year of produce from our new, raised garden beds, and the earth is blessing us with a wonderful harvest! While the garden is bursting with abundance, the fence that keeps deer, rabbits and others from enjoying our work had seen better days.

Last week, one of our board members and new buildings and grounds committee chair, Paul Aroune, was with us to tear down and install a new garden fence. It is almost complete and we are so grateful Paul took a week of vacation to support the Mountain in this way. Volunteers have always been critical to the Mountain, and this is another example. We also would like to thank volunteers John O’Brien, Craig Speers and Sheridan McAllister, among others, who helped Paul with this wonderful project.
