Mass at the Mountain – Every Sunday at 11 a.m.
October 1 @ 11:00 am - December 24 @ 12:00 pm
For the last year you have been very patient and kind helping us to follow the guidelines given to us regarding COVID-19. We are no longer required to take reservations for Mass but we are still asking that families/groups sit together. As more people are getting vaccinated, we have increased our Sunday Mass attendance to full capacity. We ask that you wear a mask regardless of vaccination status when inside the Chapel or any of our buildings as we want to care for one another during these times.
Please feel free to drop off at the Chapel door those who might find walking to be a challenge and then park in the lot.
Following our 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays, we invite you to join us for brunch. Because brunch is served buffet-style, there are some new health safety procedures in place such as hand sanitizing and using a new plate if going up for seconds. Please bring a dish-to-pass just large enough for yourself and two other people as we cannot keep leftover buffet food. Other gatherings may also ask for a dish-to-pass – please check each event.
If weather permits, you are always welcome to bring your own picnic lunch, walk the grounds and enjoy the land.
Our Gospel readings will be as follows:
- October 24 – Mark 10:46-52
- October 31 – Mark 12:28b-34
- November 7 – Mark 12:38-44
- November 14 – Mark 13:24-32
- November 21 – John 18:33b-37
- November 28 – Luke 21:25-28, 34-36
If you are not feeling well, or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please visit us at a different time.
Again, thank you for your love and kindness to us and for joining us to celebrate Mass!
If you’re spending time with us and wish to share some of your pictures, please use the hashtag #mtirenaeus or email them to [email protected] so we may use them on the website, social media and in printed publications. Thanks!
