To join us at Sunday Mass during these COVID-19 times, you must sign up in advance – space is limited.
Mass at the Mountain – every Sunday at 11 a.m.
July 4 @ 11:00 am - August 29 @ 12:00 pm
For the last year you have been very patient and kind helping us to follow the guidelines given to us regarding Covid-19. As of July 1 we are no longer required to take reservations for Mass but we are still asking that families/groups sit together. As more people are getting vaccinated, we are increasing our Sunday Mass attendance to full capacity. If you are vaccinated, masks are optional. If you are unvaccinated, we ask that you continue to wear a mask. There may be a few guests who cannot get vaccinated due to allergies and medical conditions. Please understand that they may need to wear a mask and social distance from others. We are not yet allowed to share the Communion cup.
The parking lot is now ready to be used again! Please feel free to drop off those who might find walking challenging at the Chapel door and then park in the lot.
Following our 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays, we invite you to join us for brunch. Because brunch is served buffet-style, there are some new health safety procedures in place such as hand sanitizing and using a new plate if going up for seconds. Please bring a dish-to-pass just large enough for yourself and two other people as we cannot keep leftover buffet food. Other gatherings may also ask for a dish-to-pass – please check our calendar.
If weather permits, you are always welcome to bring your own picnic lunch, walk the grounds and enjoy the land.
Our Gospel readings will be as follows:
August 1 – John 6:24-35
August 8 – John 6:41-51
August 15 – Luke 1:39-56
August 22 – John 6:60-69
August 29 – Mark 7:1-8, 14-15, 21-23
If you are not feeling well, or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please visit us at a different time.
Again, thank you for your love and kindness to us and for joining us to celebrate Mass! We hope to see more of you this summer!
If you’re spending time with us and wish to share some of your pictures, please use the hashtag #mtirenaeus or email them to mount.[email protected] so we may use them on the website, social media and in printed publications. Thanks!
