Remembering Fr. Dan Riley
Fr. Dan impacted generations of people across the country, around the world and, of course, at St. Bonaventure University. On this webpage, we’ve brought together many of the ways he offered himself and the ministry of Mt. Irenaeus to the world and into our hearts. Take time now, in a month, in a year and for generations to come to listen to his wisdom and love through various mediums. In the coming months, we’ll add more content, such as his artwork to reflect upon.
Many people have asked how they can support Fr. Dan’s legacy. If you’re inclined, we would welcome donations to the Mt. Irenaeus Fr. Dan Riley Sustainability Endowment and/or St. Bonaventure University’s Mt. Irenaeus Endowment Fund, both of which support our ministry and his vision.
Following our Mountain practice and way of life, we invite your reflections about Fr. Dan by using the form at the bottom of the page. Peace!

Fr. Dan loved sharing near daily posts on Instagram. He would often spend 30-60 minutes capturing an image, composing the words and praying before he published each of the 4,500+ posts.
