Community

Our community is made up of many people who work closely together, each a spoke in the wheel. Our friars live and minister at the Mountain and come down to the St. Bonaventure campus to work with students, faculty and staff. Our Mountain staff coordinate communications and fundraising from the McGinley-Carney Center for Franciscan Ministry on the SBU campus. The Board of Trustees guide us forward while keeping us mission focused. Our volunteers make up a significant part of our ministry. They are members of our committees working tirelessly behind the scenes helping to welcome guests, keep the Mountain clean and neat, host gatherings off the Mountain, help raise funds for our operating expenses and upkeep and in a million more ways great and small.
