Our Life

The Mt. Irenaeus community, open to all people, ages and cultures, is guided by a resident community. The resident community models the hospitality and relationship building, the importance of inclusion and collaboration in light of the fundamental relationship we all have with a common creator in our Christian tradition.

Mission

Our mission, vision and Gospel manner of life and ministry are central to who we are — and we welcome everyone into this way of life, which is deeply rooted in the Franciscan way of life.

Community

Our community consists of people from all walks of life — friars, Board of Trustees, staff, Mountain companions, students and friends across the country.

History

Our history tells a story that is now more than 30 years old, fueled by the dreams of some, hard work of many, generosity of spirit and the grace of God always present.

For Friars

We walk in unity with Franciscan brothers throughout the United States and the world. We welcome you to live on our land and share our life and ministry.
