We are pleased to share that Fr. Bill McIntyre, ofm, has joined our resident community! Bill has been living at the Mountain in mutual discernment with us since the beginning of December. A joint decision was made with our Board of Trustees and the friars of Holy Peace Friary to welcome him into the community.
Bill is a 1987 St. Bonaventure University graduate. He entered into the friars soon after, in the same class as Br. Kevin Kriso, ofm. Bill’s time in ministry over the last 15 years has been in urban, diverse parishes in Durham, N.C., followed by Macon, Ga.
As you will hear in the video, Bill is excited to get back to New York State and enter into a new type of diverse ministry. Bill’s role will be much like the other community members – living into the community and supporting all Mountain ministries.
We’re implementing our strategic plan and one initiative specifically centers around growing our resident community. Through Karen Pulaski’s commitment, and now Fr. Bill’s, we are pleased to show that others have a passion for continuing the Mountain ministry into the future.
