With the heaviest of hearts, we share the unimaginable news that Fr. Dan Riley, ofm, passed away this afternoon, July 24, 2024.
Fr. Dan went home to the Lord after decades of love and service to Mt. Irenaeus, St. Bonaventure University, Holy Name Province (now Our Lady of Guadalupe Province) and the wider world.
The world and all of us are simply better because of Dan Riley’s life, legacy and, yes, his laughter.
Please keep his family in your prayers, including his siblings and their families.
Please keep the Mt. Irenaeus family in your prayers, especially those who have lived in residence with him.
May Fr. Dan’s spirit and words remain in your hearts forever.
