We enjoy living a Franciscan life in a contemplative model of Sts. Francis and Clare.

Our co-ministry with St. Bonaventure University welcomes students from August through May, so many of our weekends and evenings are dedicated to working in collaboration with students and student leaders.

Sunday Mass and Brunch

We welcome everyone to join us Sundays at 11 a.m. for Mass. Please feel free to drop off at the Chapel door those who might find walking to be a challenge and then park in the lot. Following our 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays, we invite you to join us for brunch. Please bring a small dish-to-pass as we cannot keep leftover buffet food.

Overnight or Daylong Time With Us

If you’re interested in staying with us or joining us as a small group for a day, please call the House of Peace at 585-973-2470.  We will only reserve space by phone.

Our life is sustained substantially by the generosity of others. A donation of $80 a night per person (not counting children) is suggested for each overnight stay. If you expect to be with us for a weekend or more, we ask for a deposit of $50. This will be returned to you if you need to cancel up to a week before your arrival date. We are grateful if you can offer us more than this and we understand the circumstances of life which allow smaller donations.

Note: We do not rent out space or normally serve large groups who are looking for “retreat” facilities. It has been our experience that some individual needs and most group expectations will best be served in another setting where the use of facilities and a group’s own agenda would determine the day.

Inquire About Accommodations

We do not take reservations for overnights via email or our website.  If you would like to stay with us, please call 585-973-2470 and ask for Fr. Lou.  If we are unavailable, please leave a detailed message with a call back number.  Make sure to speak slowly and clearly when leaving your message and Fr. Lou will get back to you as soon as he is able.
