Students and Friends of the Mountain – please join us on Saturday, October 18 for our annual Fall Workday!  We would appreciate your help as there is always much to do!

SBU Men – there will be a Men’s Overnight on Friday, Oct 17.  Please consider coming on Friday night and staying through to dinner on Saturday!  You can sign up for the overnight on the Mountain’s Event page.

We will be starting our day about 10 am with prayer and organizing ourselves into work groups at the House of Peace. We will work on projects until lunchtime which is usually about 12:30. The Mountain will provide lunch, or you may bring your own.  After lunch, we will head back to our projects until approximately 3:30 pm when we will clean up and gather for a time of prayer, reflection and thanks.  You are invited to stay for dinner too!

If you would like a ride, we will be leaving campus at 9:15 from Café LaVerna, please have breakfast before we leave.

If you are driving yourself, please plan to arrive at the Mountain before 10 am and use the directions you can find on our website HERE.  Do Not use GPS.

We are hoping for the best weather possible, but try to dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes that might get muddy.  It’s autumn in Western New York and you never know what the temperature will be!

Rides back to campus will be after cleanup at approximately 4 pm, but we encourage you to stay for a fantastic supper with us!  Mannie always cooks a feast to celebrate the ending of another wonderful workday.
