Please pray for Glenn Hagan, a member of the Bonas NIT hoops champs, recently diagnosed with cancer. I'm certain your prayers will lift his spirits the way he lifted Bonaventure to new heights. Thank you.

For the heart of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph to obtain the conversion of Miguel, who despises his family and the faith. And for the intentions of his father and Daniel.

In April I asked you to pray for a friend of the family, Tracy with ovarian cancer, and she is holding up fairly well, but, she is still in treatment and still needs your prayers. I also, at the same time, asked you to pray for my son, who had more back surgery. It has been 9 years since the problem first started when he was paralyzed from the neck down. Since he has had 5 back and neck surgery, but, as he says, I am walking and talking. He is still in pain and thankful to the good Lord and prayers that he can walk. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Today I sat with my mother in Strong Hospital while she received a diagnosis of aggressive, terminal brain cancer. She faced this news with sadness for the future missed opportunities, but also with joy in the promise of eternal life. I ask for prayers that her faith will continue to guide her through challenging days ahead, and that her optimism will be an inspiration for her family and friends.

Mtn Community please pray for my friends Paul, Kirsten and their older brother Dave. David's son, David Jr, died suddenly in his sleep Saturday night in Chicago while with his girlfriend. David Jr's body has been flown home back here in the east. It's been a devastating shock to the parents, girlfriend and family members. RIP David Jr and may perpetual light shine upon you now and forever and may your parents be consoled by Mary, Mother of God, with her eternal healing presence. Thank you.

Please pray for me and all those suffering through anxiety, depression and all forms of mental illness.
I am thankful to God for the good days, and ask for God's strength and mercy on the difficult days. Pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire those with mental health issues to reach out to JUST ONE PERSON. It doesn't make a person weak, it makes them strong!
Through God's Love and help from family, friends and professionals, there IS a sunrise even after the darkest night.
Pax Et Bonum,
A proud SBU Alum

For the elderly and frail, especially my parents who are trying to remain independent.
For teens and all who suffer from bullying and threats, especially my daughter, that the strength of St Michael be their defense and comfort.
For all who mourn great loss, that the darkness that surrounds them now is pierced by the light of God’s love

As Pentecost Sunday approaches, please join me in giving thanks to the most Holy Spirit of our Lord for those men and women who have responded, in faith and humility, to “making all things new” by living out a Franciscan charism through the ministries of Mt Irenaeus, through Franciscan Sojourners, or through profession to the Secular Franciscan Order.
“O most blessed Light divine,
May that light within us shine
And our inmost being fill!”
Amen! Alleluia!
