Prayers requested for my best friend Prisl who is in the hospital with a brain bleed sustained in a fall before Thanksgiving. Pray for her team of doctors to determine what is needed to resolve the issue and restore her to full health.

Reflecting this morning on the Serenity prayer, believe its embroidered and hangs in the Mountain's House of Peace.
God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change.
The Courage to change the things
I can. And the Wisdom to know
the difference.
For your intentions and ours, for all those things we
cannot change, may we surrender to God's Will now
and throughout the holidays. Amen.

We hope and pray that the early snowfall that inspired Fr. Dan’s beautiful Blanket of Love podcast but has since accumulated into astronomical proportions finds the good friars and anyone present with them on the Mountain safe, sound and in good spirits. Our fondest hope is that you all can see beauty in the moment and use this time of isolation as an opportunity to engage in Franciscan Lectio. For this we pray in the name of Jesus.
