For What Shall We Pray?

As is our custom at the Mountain, we invite your petitions and prayer requests here online.

1.) As you offer prayers, please be mindful of people’s medical and family privacy; try to avoid using people’s names.

2.) To submit a prayer request, please click on the share button below and complete the fields.

3.) After you click ONCE to submit your prayer request, it is sent to a member of the Mountain community for review and posting. We prayerfully review these requests and may edit or choose not to make them public.

4.) Please pray for intentions:
• Simply view the intentions and click “I prayed for this.”
• To join our prayer circle and be notified of new intentions, email Mary at [email protected] and help minister from wherever you live.

Prayers for a great Bona gal. Denise has had a recent set back and was hospitalized, she is recovering at home now. This combined with a cancer recurrence has created a challenging path forward. We ask our Lord to intervene and lay his healing hands upon Denise and that the path forward becomes a smooth one for this dear soul and friend.

We learned on Friday that a close friend has a cancerous tumor. He is meeting with a surgeon and has some steps to go through before he may be starting 5 weeks of chemo and radiation. Please pray his challenges are few and his recovery is swift.

My brother Kenny was just diagnosed with B cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I pray for him, his family and treatment team and all those who will minister to him during the healing process. With God the Great Physician all things are possible.

My prayer request is for the living souls of all suffering from Alzheimers, memory loss, dementia. I’m told its as if their soul is departing, or hiding from their conscience. They grow more fearful and angry. For the safety and comfort of their souls, may they be embraced in Light and Love.

Please pray for a member of the Sojourners, Ken whose daughter Alex has gone missing here in Albany, NY. Alex is 42, off her meds, ran away with her dog "Batman" and has not yet shown up at a shelter. Police are unable to give any details. Pray for the sighting of Alex, for her and Batman's well being and for all in need of hope and comfort, especially her parents, for all to return home safely.
