New Year’s Day Mass – January 1, 2022

December 25, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Start your new year off right and join us for Mass in Holy Peace Chapel.

Saturday, January 1 – Mary, The Holy Mother of God
Of all the Marian celebrations of the Church, this day dedicated to Mary, Mother of God, is the greatest.  Drawing on scriptural and patristic sources, it celebrates Mary’s role in the incarnation and in redemption.  In this role, her special relationship with her son is emphasized, and she is acknowledged as a model of the Church.

For the last year you have been very patient and kind helping us to follow the guidelines given to us regarding COVID-19.  We are no longer required to take reservations for Mass but we are still asking that families/groups sit together. As more people are getting vaccinated, we have increased our Sunday Mass attendance to full capacity. We ask that you wear a mask regardless of vaccination status when inside the Chapel or any of our buildings as we love you and want to care for you and one another during these times.

If someone in your group is mobility challenged, please feel free to drop them at the Chapel door and then park in the lot.

Our first reading will be Isaiah 9:1-6, our second reading will be Titus 2:11-14 and our Gospel reading for Christmas Day is Luke 2:1-14.

Since this is a Saturday, we will not be gathering after Mass today.

If you are not feeling well, or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please visit us at a different time.

Again, thank you for your love and kindness to us and for joining us to celebrate Mass!
