Mt. Irenaeus Spring Cleanup Day

Please come help the Mountain community on Saturday, April 20 for a little Spring Cleaning!
SBU Students – consider coming on Friday night for our Open Overnight! If that’s not possible, we will be leaving campus at 9:30 am from Café LaVerna, please have breakfast before we leave.
If you are driving yourself, please plan to arrive at the Mountain before 10 am and use the directions you can find on our website HERE.
We are hoping for the best weather possible, but try to dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes that might get muddy. With Spring in Western New York you never know what the temperature will be!
We will be starting our day about 10 am with prayer and organizing ourselves into work groups at the House of Peace. We will work on projects until lunchtime which is usually about 12:30. The Mountain will provide lunch, or you may bring your own. After lunch, we will head back to our projects until approximately 3:30 pm when we will clean up and gather for a time of prayer, reflection and thanks.
Rides back to campus will be after cleanup at approximately 4 pm. If you’d like to stay for dinner, please talk with Br. Kevin to make sure there’s a ride available.
