Mountain on the Road in Connecticut, Long Island and Northern NJ

No registration necessary at this time!  Please drop in and join us!

Join Br. Joe, Karen, Joe Flanagan and students from the Mountain/SBU ministry team as we gather together as a greater community for Lenten reflections, prayer, and time to share with light refreshments afterwards.

March 20 – 6:30-8 pm – Saint Bridget of Ireland Parish, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT.
Our evening will include a brief Lenten reflection, time to share, evening prayer and refreshments.

March 21 – 2:30-5 pm – Chaminade High School’s Saragossa Retreat House, 267 Marcellus St., Mineola, NY.
Our afternoon will include a brief Lenten reflection, time to share, afternoon prayer, and refreshments.  We will conclude our time together with Mass at 4:00 p.m.  The Celebrant of our Mass will be Fr John Worthley, brother of St Bonaventure alum Don Worthley ‘68.
Saragossa Retreat House is located directly behind the east end of the Chaminade Activity-Athletic Center (AAC). Parking is available on the north side of Jericho Tpke, directly across from the AAC. You can safely cross at the traffic light on Jericho and Marcellus Rd. Saragossa is the first house on the right.

March 22 – 10:30 am – St. Mary’s Carnevale Center, 10 Lenox Ave, Pompton Lakes, NJ.
Join us for a Family Mass celebrated by Fr. Stephen Mimnaugh, VP for Mission Integration at SBU and regular Sunday Mass presider with light refreshments to follow.

Mountain on the Road is a joint SBU-Mountain event envisioned by Fr. Dan Riley. Let us continue to gather in his memory to pray for each other and the world.
