SUMMARY:Fall Work Day 2022
DESCRIPTION:SBU students\, consider coming on Friday night for our open overnight!  If that’s not possible\, we will be leaving campus at 9:30 from Café LaVerna\, please have breakfast before we leave. \nIf you are driving yourself\, please plan to arrive at the Mountain about 10 am and use the directions you can find on our website HERE. \nWe are hoping for the best weather possible\, but try to dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes that might get muddy.  It’s autumn in Western New York and you never know what the temperature will be! \nWe will be starting our day about 10 am with prayer and organizing ourselves into work groups at the House of Peace. We will work on projects until lunchtime which is usually about 12:30. The Mountain will provide lunch\, or you may bring your own.  After lunch\, we will head back to our projects until approximately 3:30 pm when we will clean up and gather for a time of prayer\, reflection and thanks. \nRides back to campus will be after cleanup at approximately 4 pm. \nNon-SBU students\, if you’d like to stay overnight\, please contact Fr. Lou at 585-973-2470 to see about accommodations. \nStudents\, we encourage you to participate in our Friday Open Overnight!   You can sign up for that by going here – please sign up for each event separately. \nIf you have any questions\, feel free to contact Mary (mgiardin@sbu.edu) or Br.
