SUMMARY:Evening of Re-Creation on July 21
DESCRIPTION:As in the past\, this summer’s Evenings of Re-Creation will be held rain or shine and will begin with Evening Prayer in the Chapel followed by time on the land and supper.  Because many people have gotten the Covid vaccine\, we can be a little more relaxed with our health and safety restrictions than we were last year. \nIf you are vaccinated\, masks are optional. If you are unvaccinated\, we ask that you continue to wear a mask. There may be a few guests who cannot get vaccinated due to allergies and medical conditions. Please understand that they may need to wear a mask and social distance from others. \nSupper will be a dish-to-pass meal.  Because it is served buffet-style\, there are some new health safety procedures in place such as hand sanitizing and using a new plate if going up for seconds. Please bring a dish-to-pass just large enough for yourself and two other people as we cannot keep leftover buffet food.  If you’d rather bring your own bagged supper\, that is fine too. \nAfter supper\, join us in the Chapel for Mass. During the homily\, we will have time for an open “conversatio.”  The evening concludes around 9 pm. \nPlease sign up below if you would like to join us. \nOur schedule is approximately as follows: \n\n5:15 p.m. – Meet in the Chapel for evening prayer followed by quiet time on the land\n6:30 p.m. – Dish-to-pass or bring your own bagged meal.\n7:30 p.m. – Mass at the Chapel\n9 p.m. – End of program and departure from the Mountain\n\nPlease park on the road near the House of Peace and sign in upon your arrival.
