Thank you for all of your prayers in the past year. I have experienced significant healing, but I ask for more of your help and for God's grace.

My legs: The lightening strikes of nerve pain, like mini seizures, still rattle my legs at least 10 minutes a day, and I still get daily attacks lasting 6-10 hours at a time.

Last year, I suffered from relentless nerve pain day and night, causing raw nerves & sleepless nights.

Your prayers reduced this leg pain in both frequency & intensity. Please pray for continued healing of my nerves. Pray for my legs to be bathed in God's healing, so they can once again become more functional.

My hands. Here you helped tremendously in the past year. Though my arthritis has disfigured my fingers & joints, especially my thumbs, I have gained strength in my hands due to your help.

I ask for your continued prayers for my hands. I want to write in longhand once again, so I can journal and write cards and letters to loved ones. I want to make art again, and fiber crafts. Please pray for God to bless my hands with the flow of creativity. I have so much more to give with these hands. Please help the crippling pain and numbness to fall away.

Thank you , once again, for all of your healing and attention. Your help has meant so much.

Please pray for our classmate and friend from 3rd Dev. Vinny, an alumnus from the class of 1971 has been battling cancer for more than six months. His will is strong, and his families love and care are assisting with his recovery. The prayers are working, as many of our classmates support him and his family with weekly calls, messages and visits. Hang Tough Pal.

Please pray for Glenn Hagan, a member of the Bonas NIT hoops champs, recently diagnosed with cancer. I'm certain your prayers will lift his spirits the way he lifted Bonaventure to new heights. Thank you.

For the heart of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph to obtain the conversion of Miguel, who despises his family and the faith. And for the intentions of his father and Daniel.

In April I asked you to pray for a friend of the family, Tracy with ovarian cancer, and she is holding up fairly well, but, she is still in treatment and still needs your prayers. I also, at the same time, asked you to pray for my son, who had more back surgery. It has been 9 years since the problem first started when he was paralyzed from the neck down. Since he has had 5 back and neck surgery, but, as he says, I am walking and talking. He is still in pain and thankful to the good Lord and prayers that he can walk. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Today I sat with my mother in Strong Hospital while she received a diagnosis of aggressive, terminal brain cancer. She faced this news with sadness for the future missed opportunities, but also with joy in the promise of eternal life. I ask for prayers that her faith will continue to guide her through challenging days ahead, and that her optimism will be an inspiration for her family and friends.

Mtn Community please pray for my friends Paul, Kirsten and their older brother Dave. David's son, David Jr, died suddenly in his sleep Saturday night in Chicago while with his girlfriend. David Jr's body has been flown home back here in the east. It's been a devastating shock to the parents, girlfriend and family members. RIP David Jr and may perpetual light shine upon you now and forever and may your parents be consoled by Mary, Mother of God, with her eternal healing presence. Thank you.

Please pray for me and all those suffering through anxiety, depression and all forms of mental illness.

I am thankful to God for the good days, and ask for God's strength and mercy on the difficult days. Pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire those with mental health issues to reach out to JUST ONE PERSON. It doesn't make a person weak, it makes them strong!

Through God's Love and help from family, friends and professionals, there IS a sunrise even after the darkest night.

A proud SBU Alum
