For What Shall We Pray?
As is our custom at the Mountain, we invite your petitions and prayer requests here online. As you offer prayers, please be mindful of people’s medical and family privacy; try to avoid using people’s names. To submit a prayer request, please click on the share button below and complete the fields.
After you submit your prayer request, it is sent to a member of the Mountain community for review and posting. We prayerfully review these requests and may edit or choose not to make them public. If we do so, we will communicate with you. After you submit your request, please take a few minutes and pray for the intentions offered by others on this page and click on the notice that you prayed so that the person who requested it and others know that this request is being acknowledged by others.
Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord hear our prayer.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
Please pray for Wanda and her family. I believe she would have been St. Bonaventure Class of '88 but left early and finished her degree requirements in 1992. Wanda has been journeying through ovarian cancer treatments for a few years. The treatments have stopped working. Please pray for quality time, peace, and comfort when the time comes for her transition from this life to eternal life. She served in the USAF where she met husband, Jeffrey. They have three beautiful grown children and grandchildren. She went on to serve at-risk youth through her career after USAF and made a difference in so many lives. In Wanda, although we lost touch a few times over the years, we always reconnected. Facebook was one of the great tools for that. I felt loved by my friend, even across the miles. She knows I love her, too. She called me "her sister from another mister." Blessings To Wanda on this part of the journey.

Our beautiful garden is a place of sanctuary, respite and peace for my wife who suffers with various health issues for many years. Now the landlords have gone back on their word to us about their plans that have gone from very minimal to now massive re-construction that means unless we can uproot and save plants, which will be extremely difficult because the ground is full of tree roots, it will destroy much of it that we had grown over the last 10 years. Please pray for a miracle, for the landlords to go back on their decision somehow and for God to provide a better way. Thank you

Lord Jesus Christ.
O Lord Jesus Christ who’s
My saviour in life and
You give me strength every day
And you guide me home safe every night
And the birds sing for your love in life
And all the flowers smile in your beautiful sunlight and
May your joy shine through me and
I come before you O Lord Jesus Christ and
You lead me to enjoy the beauty of peace
And love of your creation in life
And I carry your hopes and joys
And your everlasting love forever inside my heart.
Amen Lord Jesus Christ.

Dennis was beloved by the entire Bonaventure family. We were blessed to have him for our President, even though the time was too short. Please give strength to his wonderful wife Sherry and their 2 sons -Andy and Matt - during this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.

For the Bonaventure community as we are all saddened by the passing of Dr. Dennis DePerro. For his family that God may comfort them in their grief. When I think of Dennis I see his big smile and huge heart. He has truly led a life consistent with the Franciscan values he cherished.
