Asking for prayers on behalf of Boulder County, Colorado residents and specifically, Mountain alum, Jim Goebelbecker, his wife Regina and family during this time of tremendous upheaval. Last night's high winds caused power lines to fall and set fire to a neighbor's home. Jim's family evacuated safely, yet face severe smoke damage to their property ... as with their entire neighborhood and 1600+ acres, businesses and property impacted by the climate disaster fueled by flames and 100mph winds.

I ask that we pray for the countless homeless that are scattered throughout this country. You and I have cars, savings accounts, homes, educated children and bountiful food. Most homeless have none of these. So I impart this two word command: EARN THIS! Be aware of what you have and be thankful of all that you have. Open your refrigerator, look at your checkbook, walk around your home, take a drive in your car and thus realize what you have that the homeless do not. EARN THIS! Do some good wherever and whenever you can. And thank God for the plethora of blessings He has showered on you. EARN THIS!
